Allentown, PA (PRWEB) May 15, 2014

The Lehigh Valley is gearing up for one of its biggest shows - The Great Allentown Comic Con (GACC) show on July 12, 2014. The GACC is the largest comic & pop culture convention in north east Pennsylvania, and is celebrating its fifth year bringing family friendly entertainment, costume “cosplay” contests, prizes, and many well-known guests from the comic book artist realm as well as TV and Films.

The show welcomes Nicholas Brendan (Xander Harris on the popular Buffy the Vampire Slayer series) and Buffy comic book artist Rebekah Isaacs to the July 12th event. Brendon has recently been announced as the co-writer to the new “Season 10” story arc for the Dark Horse book. Rebekah Isaacs, artist on other Buffyverse comic Angel & Faith with writer Christos Gage and Executive Producer Joss Whedon; has received wide support from fans that have helped keep Buffy going long after the show ended – now 11 years from the last air date.

This will be a rare appearance with both at the same event; and attending fans will get to learn the creative process that they use to develop the monthly book. In addition, Mr. Brendon will answer fan questions regarding his time portraying the popular character of Xander Harris during the seven year run of the Buffy The Vampire Slayer series.

Other talents highly regarded in the Pop Culture realm making an appearance include Celebrity Cosplayer Nicole Marie Jean, who will be the headline judge for the planned Costuming Contests (with individual Male, Female, and Group categories); and Karan Ashley, who played Aisha Campbell (the second Yellow Power Ranger) on the hit children’s show The Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers; Roger Jackson (voice of ‘Ghostface’ from the Scream movie franchise and ‘Mojo Jojo’ in Powerpuff Girls), and Harvey Award winner Bryan JL Glass to name just a few.

Making a return will be an exclusive trading card set, to be collected throughout the show. The cards will be available at various tables throughout the show, highlighting guests appearing in July, and fans will be encouraged to collect the set throughout the day. Additional Guests and show information can be found at http://www.AllentownComicCon.com.
