Sandvold and Associates is a proud sponsor of the Lions Hearing Foundation’s third annual D-Feet Hearing Loss Fundraiser Walk. Their contribution will support the Lions Children’s Hearing Center (specialty clinic), Lions Children’s Hearing & ENT Clinic, Lions Voice Clinic. Lions Professorship, equipment and important research in hearing health care.

The D-Feet Hearing Loss Fundraiser Walk, being held on June 7 at the University of Minnesota Landscape Arboretum in Chaska, includes a half mile, two mile or three mile walk followed by lunch.

Lions is the world’s largest service club organization. Lions Multiple District 5M encompasses all of Minnesota, Manitoba, and Western Ontario. One of their many undertakings was the foundation of the Multiple District 5M Hearing Foundation, nearly four decades ago.

In November 1985, the Lions 5M International Hearing Center was dedicated, providing general ENT services, audiology, cochlear implants and other services. Its focus is on improving the hearing of children and adults through clinical care, research and education of hearing professionals. It is also a teaching facility for students, residents and global scholars and physicians. It is the only comprehensive center of its kind in the upper Midwest.

The Lions Multiple District 5M Hearing Foundation has committed to raising $1.3 million to support research for the University of Minnesota Department of Otolaryngology and the Lions Children’s Hearing Center at the University of Minnesota.
