The InvestiGator Club Named REVERE Awards Finalists
Chicago, Ill. (PRWEB) May 15, 2014 -- The InvestiGator Club® Prekindergarten Learning System, a comprehensive inquiry-based program for the preschool classroom from Robert-Leslie Publishing, is a finalist for the 2014 Recognized Valuable Educational Resources (REVERE) Awards. The InvestiGator Club PreK with STEAM is named in the whole curriculum category for the Distinguished Achievement Awards, which recognize exceptional resources used by teachers, parents and learners of all ages, and the Golden Lamp Awards, the original learning resource competition and the program’s most prestigious honor.
The InvestiGator Club PreK with STEAM is a culturally rich, fully integrated preschool curriculum that focuses on ten critical domains of learning. The program uses engaging stories, charming characters, and children's own curiosity to motivate them to think, solve problems, communicate, and investigate their world.
“Being a finalist for a REVERE Award is a true testament to the effectiveness of materials The InvestiGator Club provides,” said Judith Coffey, CEO of Robert-Leslie Publishing. “The whole curriculum category for these esteemed awards speaks to the purposeful inquiry of our curriculum, which challenges children to use their senses, ask questions and find answers in a language- and culturally-rich environment.”
Presented by the Association of American Publishers’ PreK-12 Learning Group, the REVERE Awards program is the most respected and comprehensive recognition program in the learning resource community. This annual event continues a decades-long tradition of honoring excellence across all resources for preK-12. Three rounds of judging include a screening by the National Educator Review Panel, a professional review and a certification.
Finalists and winners will be honored at the REVERE Awards Gala on Wednesday evening, June 4, during the Content in Context conference in Washington, DC.
