The Network To Present Policy Management Session At Compliance Week 2014
Atlanta, Georgia (PRWEB) May 15, 2014 -- The Network, Inc., a leading provider of governance, risk and compliance (GRC) solutions, announced today its official sponsorship and participation in Compliance Week 2014, Compliance Week’s 9th annual conference and the most prestigious event designed for senior compliance, risk and audit executives at global corporations.
The Network will lead a presentation on Tuesday, May 20 on how compliance officers can better leverage technology to build policy management programs. Many businesses have policies that look great on paper but they may not be current, or worse, employees might not even know about them. The Network’s session will explore how to use technology to solve the increasingly complex policy needs modern companies experience, including keeping pace with regulatory requirements, coordinating policy and training, communicating new policies to employees, tracking existing policies and expiring policies when appropriate.
Session speakers will include Jimmy Lin, Vice President of Product Management & Corporate Strategy at The Network, Victoria Lang, Sr. Manager of Policies & Procedures at HMSHost Corporation and Dan Berrios, Counsel of Corporate Ethics and Compliance at Realogy. Michelle Nichols, Program Consultant at The Network, will moderate the session.
“The goal of this program will be to break down the problem of policy management into its component parts – tracking regulatory requirements, tracking all policies generated and management conflicts among policies – and see how a modern, enterprise-wide IT system can do those tasks more efficiently,” Lin said.
Compliance Week 2014 offers deep, informative sessions, case studies, and analysis that equip attendees with actionable insights they can employ immediately.
