Reproductive Medicine Associates of Pennsylvania (RMAPA) announced today it will be featured on “In View,” a half hour educational program hosted by Larry King, airing at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 17 on Fox Business Network. The segment will highlight common infertility causes, treatment options and a patient’s success story.
“The most important aspect of the program is to show those who are struggling to conceive that there is hope,” says Dr. Wendy Schillings, RMAPA physician. “We’re fully devoted to helping patients and couples have families. There are a multitude of treatment options that patients can consider and we try to help you through those options in a caring sensitive environment.”
An estimated one in six couples of childbearing age is diagnosed with infertility. Over the last 25 years there have been significant advancements in treatments. RMAPA’s services include Ovulation Induction, In Vitro Fertilization (IVF), and Artificial Insemination (IUI).
RMAPA currently ranks highest in the state and fifth highest nationwide in successful in vitro fertilization procedures. According to a report released in February by the Society of Assisted Reproductive Technology (SART), RMAPA has a 75% (21/28) success rate for in vitro embryo transfers resulting in a live birth for women under 35. The national average for this age group is 47.1%.*
