San Antonio Magazine Hosts 2nd Annual Cocktail Fundraiser, "Singles Party" Benefiting The San Antonio Humane Society

Sponsors Event by Reese, Sunset Station and Rosemary's Catering Come Together to Support a Cause for Paws

San Antonio Magazine together with Presenting Sponsor, Events by Reese will host the second annual Singles Party, a chic cocktail fundraiser benefiting the San Antonio Humane Society. This red carpet event will be held on Thursday, May 22, 2014 at 7:30 pm at the historic Sunset Station. Guests will have the chance to mingle and participate in an auction to win a group date with the attractive roster of bachelors and bachelorettes. This cause for paws will assist in educational programs like “Summer Camp Humane”, veterinary training and internships to help prepare students for future careers. Donations and fundraising will also directly help local animals and the surrounding communities with their immediate necessities. Adoption services, spay/neuter programs, and micro chipping are all areas that will benefit substantially. All the proceeds from the event will aid in raising awareness and support for the critical services, education and programs of San Antonio Humane Society.

Guests are anticipating being entertained by emcees Phil Anaya, reporter at Kens 5, and Bridget Smith, host of Great Day SA while enjoying gourmet hors d' oeuvres by Supporting Sponsor Rosemary’s Catering. Delectable signature cocktails will be served made with premium spirits from sponsors Cinco Vodka, Select 55. Also featured will be liquid nitrogen ice cream and cocktail drink by Frost 321.

The stained glass windows and vaulted ceilings of the exquisite Sunset Station will serve as the backdrop for the creative event planning firm, Events by Reese. Celebrity Event Planner & Designer Greg Reese, who is setting the gold standard for event planning in San Antonio, has personally designed themes for innovative decor and design vignettes. Guests will relish in delight while they dance on LED lit dance floor, lounge on pristine white furniture, all while surrounded by flattering uplighting and floral decor.

Highlights of the event include coveted raffle prizes that include a for a 5 day stay in Mexico, courtesy of DTL Travel, and a 2 Night Stay at Gaylord Texan Resort in Grapevine. Guests are encouraged to purchase their VIP or General Admission tickets early to receive special pricing. General admission tickets are priced at $20 until the day of the event and $25 at the door with group rates available for large parties. Accompanied with general admission purchases are two drink tickets complimentary to enjoy cocktails of his/her choice.
