Augusta, GA (PRWEB) May 17, 2014
Church leaders came together on April 24, 2014, in Dublin, GA, to exchange ideas and seek advice on effectively connecting people in the church while also implementing outreach strategies. One pastor present expressed the struggle that many churches experience. “There is a disconnect with many of the people in our church. I am here to find ways to connect people in and outside the church; hook them to keep them,” stated Pastor Billy Daws of Dudley Baptist Church, Dudley, GA. He continued, “God is the God of the present, not just the past. We need not live in the past and we need to get with the modern times when it comes to communication and outreach.”
CallingPost Communications, a Christian-operated company, hosted a free Reach and Engage Workshop at the Laurens Baptist Association to reveal how utilizing its Move the Mountain System will help churches better engage both its current members and those outside the church. The goal of the workshop was to move from talk to action. Implementing their integrated communication solutions and outreach tools helps mobilize church bodies in order to see God’s commandment to make disciples fulfilled and His Kingdom advanced. The natural result is growth of the church.
The goal of the workshop was to help the churches maximize participation among its members and to assist them in becoming more effective in outreach and follow-up. It is CallingPost’s desire to “Turn Groups into Teams, Intentions into Reality”.
