RAFT (Resource Area For Teaching) has named Grainger Marburg as its new CEO. He brings more than 20 years of combined experience in education, management consulting, philanthropy, and non-profit management. Marburg most recently served as the executive director of CFY – San Francisco Bay Area, a national nonprofit that helps students, teachers, and parents use digital learning to improve educational outcomes.
Marburg will lead RAFT to develop, fund, and implement core strategies that will increase the reach of the organization’s effective tools and techniques for supporting educators in engaging students through hands-on learning. In addition to overseeing three Bay Area locations, Marburg will also expand RAFT’s national presence during this critical shift to the Common Core Standards.
