Southaven, MS (PRWEB) May 15, 2014
It’s been less than a year since he bought Southern Thunder Harley-Davidson, but new owner Bob Parsons wants customers to know just how much he appreciates the local riding community. Considered one of the most prolific party throwers in Arizona’s history, Parsons plans to bring his special brand of customer appreciation to Mississippi for the grand re-opening of the dealership.
Saturday, June 7, 2014 Southern Thunder Harley-Davidson will rally the riding community for an unforgettable all-day party featuring top musical talent, food, drinks and vendors. The event is a chance for bikers, wanna-be bikers, bike enthusiasts and music lovers to have a blast and help make a difference.
The grand re-opening event will showcase headline performances by rock legends Black Oak Arkansas and Molly Hatchet. Day-time performers include local bands Trullie Brae, Nuttin Fancy, Dead Soldier and 714.
Motorcycle endorsement is good for FREE CONCERT ADMISSION for the rider plus one passenger. For all others there will be a $20 requested donation.
“You know, we’re not here for a long time, we’re here for a good time,” said entrepreneur and philanthropist Bob Parsons. “Between the bikes, vendors and bad-ass performances there is not much else a person could ask for, except maybe to benefit a great cause … and we are doing that too!”
One-hundred percent of ticket and tee-shirt sales and 20 percent of all vendor proceeds will benefit Boys & Girls Clubs of North Mississippi (BGCNMS). Since 1996, BGCNMS has empowered young people to reach their full potential as caring, productive, responsible citizens. Nearly 2,000 children and teens count on 5 clubhouses after school and during the summer for safety, hot meals, positive friends and countless opportunities to be great.
The grand re-opening party will be held at Southern Thunder Harley-Davidson just off Church Road and I-55 at 4870 Venture Drive in Southaven, MS.
