The co-feature pits all-action super bantamweight Juan Reyes (10-1-2, 1 KO) of Riverside against top prospect Isaac Zarate (7-1) of Los Angeles in an eight-round fight. The winner of Reyes vs. Zarate takes home the vacant Super Bantamweight NABF Jr. Title.
The third championship bout of the night showcases IBFA World Light Flyweight Champion Sindy Amador (11-1, 1 KO) of Riverside defending her hardware against the tough and undefeated Maria Suarez (8-0-1) of Santa Maria, CA. The world championship fight is scheduled for 10, two-minute rounds.
"We could not think of a better way to commemorate our 14th-year anniversary than by promoting a championship triple header," said Ken Thompson, president and founder of Thompson Boxing Promotions. "Our matchmaker and general manager, Alex Camponovo, has done a masterful job through the years of matching exciting and competitive fights, and this one is no different.”
"In the main event, we have top flight prospect Jose Roman, who we think is going to challenge for a world title very soon, Reyes-Zarate is going to be an absolute barn burner, and Sindy Amador, a world champion, is going to be tested against the undefeated Maria Suarez," said Thompson.
“New Blood,” is presented by Thompson Boxing Promotions and sponsored by Lucas Oil, in association with KCAL 96.7 Rocks!, KOLA 99.9 and LATV Networks.

About the Company
Thompson Building Materials was founded by Ken Thompson in 1962 in the then-rural Southern California town of Tustin, approximately 35 miles south of downtown Los Angeles. Thompson’s single cash-and-carry outlet has grown more than eightfold since then. As the company grew, so did its offerings. Demand increased and more square footage was dedicated to showcase the variety of building materials that builders, contractors, architects, designers and homeowners were requesting.
Thompson has hundreds of brick choices, thousands of square feet of stone, and miles of pavers to choose from. And, if that isn’t enough, Thompsons’ knowledgeable staff will find exactly what is needed. With more than a million square feet of yard and retail space throughout the southland, rest assured, Thompson has what is needed.
Today, Thompson Building Materials pursuit of excellence remains an unremitting goal. Excellence when negotiating with manufacturers and quarries for building materials, and excellence in genuine respect and admiration for each and every Thompson customer. Thompson Building Materials is the best building materials resource in Southern California for the designer, builder, contractor and homeowner. Come by today and see why they always say, “We supply your demand!”
