Eyes are upon Brazil as the World's biggest international sporting event prepares to kick off, with only twenty two short days until the opening fixture of the FIFA World Cup.
Brazil, who have only failed to qualify once in the tournament's 84 year history, take on a brave Croatian side in the Arena de Sao Paulo, in (of course) Sao Paulo.
Brazil, having lifted the trophy a record number of five times across two century’s enter the tournament not only as the host nation but also as the bookies heavy favourite. Hosting the FIFA World Cup does seem to gain a country extra leverage with many teams reaching a best place finish on home soil (England '66).
Controversy always engulfs the tournament - head butts, tears and dives are strong memories of recent years - but what awaits us in this years FIFA World Cup?
