Smarter Searches, a Knoxville based internet marketing agency, has recently expanded and added a new full time team member. Alison Ross, previously of E.W. Scripps and EMA, has joined the digital marketing team as Assistant Director of Digital Operations. Ross has spent the last five years working in pay per click advertising and social media marketing and adds a great deal of experience in managing and optimizing digital advertising accounts.
Owner Courtney Herda has said, “Alison is truly a wonderful asset to have on our team. She brings a great deal of experience in social media marketing and a high degree of specialization in Facebook advertising, which really sets us apart from the competition.”
Smarter Searches was founded 18 months ago in Knoxville, TN, as a full-service digital marketing agency focused on small and medium sized businesses, often the most under-served businesses in digital. Ross says, "Working for Smarter Searches has changed my entire perspective on digital marketing. We’re thinking outside the box - bringing new ideas to the table, getting to know our client’s wants and needs. We’re constantly thinking of new ways to help businesses gain exposure and put them in front of their ideal customer."
“People think that because digital is an ever-changing and emerging field that it has to be cost prohibitive for small businesses, but it simply isn’t the case,” says Herda. “Adding Alison to our team really adds to the quality of service we can provide to our customers, brings a new feature to the creativity of our team, and ensures we can continue to serve our customers appropriately as we continue to grow.”
Smarter Searches' services include SEO, PPC, social media marketing, and reputation management, services that Herda says are some of the best uses of marketing dollars a business can find, “giving them the best value for their dollar.”
The addition of Ross to the team, which consists of Herda and content marketing director Briana Harricharan Singh, adds a high degree of specialization in a market severely underserved in the digital realm. Ross added, "No project is too big or too small, and I absolutely love the challenge of customizing solutions to satisfy our clients."
