Trendy T-shirt Retailer Lamp Apparel to Open Flagship Store in Short North Arts District
Columbus, OH (PRWEB) May 18, 2014 -- Comfort-focused retailer, Lamp Apparel, has announced the opening of a flagship store in Columbus’s Short North Arts District. The quaint retail space on the corner of Hubbard and High will serve as the main campus for the entire line-up of Lamp’s original graphic t-shirts.
Lamp Apparel started as a hobby for founders Brandon Fuss-Cheetham and Scott Kaiser, who were college roommates at Ohio State. Rooting their original designs in hometown pride, Lamp put themselves on the map with the release of their “THE shirt.“
“When first starting Lamp Apparel, our sights were set on opening a brick and mortar store one day,” Kaiser said. “We are very excited and looking forward to being a part of the Short North culture.”
Since officially taking off in February of 2013, Lamp Apparel has expanded their designs to push the boundaries and boldly express the raw attitudes and nonchalant personalities that gravitate to the lampin’ way.
Lamp is also proud to be partnering with Columbus Crew Goalkeeper & Ohio State University alum Matt Lampson and his non-profit organization, The LampStrong Foundation, Inc., to help aid in the support of cancer patients, their families and to raise blood cancer awareness.
As part of Lamp’s plan for growth, the Lamp flagship store will serve as the launch pad for new designs as well as new collections like the upcoming children’s line, tank tops, sweatshirts, and even comfortable gear for the waist down.
"We want to be clever, expressive, and edgy while still being comfortable,” said Fuss-Cheetham of the brand. “Whether you are relaxing at home with your feet crossed, hiking through trails, or hitting up the night life, it’s a perfect time to be wearing Lamp Apparel.”
The 507 square foot, first-level boutique at 815 N. High St. Suite A will officially open June 6th, with a Grand Opening event during Gallery Hop on June 7th.
“Our designs and comfy attire are unique to our brand,” said Fuss-Cheetham. “We ooze the lampin' lifestyle and want our customers to feel good in their gear.”
