MRI Software, the leading provider of real estate software solutions, announced today the appointment of the Company’s President and Chief Operating Officer, Patrick Ghilani, to Chief Executive Officer. As CEO, Ghilani will drive MRI’s corporate vision, product strategy, and all operations, including sales, services, and support for a rapidly growing client base.

Ghilani joined MRI in 2006 as the Vice President of Global Professional Services, building the company’s industry-leading consulting and implementation services team. Appointed Chief Operating Officer in 2012, Ghilani spearheaded productivity and client experience improvements while leading all client operations, including Professional Services, Client Support, and SaaS hosting. As President & COO, Ghilani has been leading corporate growth initiatives targeting both geographic and innovative product expansion.
Prior to MRI, Ghilani held executive roles building and managing professional and support services organizations for both SmartOps Corporation, a provider of supply chain software (now an SAP Company), and for technology consulting services firm, UBICS, Inc. As a management consultant with Ernst & Young LLP, Ghilani was an industry vertical leader, with global sales, management, and delivery responsibilities of large scale ERP application implementations for the Fortune 500. With over 20 years of experience in the enterprise application arena, Ghilani has successfully managed both the strategy and operations of sizeable technology organizations, serving multiple global industries, including over 10 years in the commercial and multifamily real estate vertical. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Business-Supply Chain Management from Michigan State University.
Mr. Ghilani succeeds David Post, who was promoted to an executive role at another portfolio company of Vista Equity Partners, and will remain a board member of MRI Software.
