Cirkers, celebrating more than 150 years of storing, packing and transporting fine art, has acquired RW Holdart in Los Angeles. The Los Angeles-based company, now operating as RW Holdart, a Cirkers Company, provides premium services in fine art handling, transport and installation, as well as art storage. The acquisition expands Cirkers’ service offerings to the greater Los Angeles area, providing the art storage and logistics company with a coast-to-coast presence.

Located at 984 McGarry Street in Los Angeles, RW Holdart (http://www.rwholdart.com) offers personalized art-handling services to collectors, galleries, museums, curators, designers and artists. Additional RW Holdart services include art installation, display fabrication, custom crating, high-quality stretcher creation and both local transport and coordinated international shipping.

Cirkers has taken over the operations of RW Holdart, and will continue to provide its Los Angeles customer base with excellent service in line with the strong reputation of RW Holdart, but with expanded capabilities offered through the Cirkers concierge-style service platform.

“With the acquisition of RW Holdart, we are better equipped than ever to serve our global customer base, and to expand the footprint of our concierge approach to fine art services on the West Coast,” says Bryan Gordon, CEO of Cirkers.

The Cirkers flagship facility is located at 444 W. 55th Street in Manhattan. In 2012, Cirkers Manhattan underwent the final phase of a four-year renovation to create a museum-like entrance and first floor, modernization of the viewing galleries and the addition of two private meeting rooms with audio/visual equipment for client use. Cirkers is in a positive growth phase; in addition to the RW Holdart acquisition, the art storage and logistics leader also recently acquired a new, state-of-the-art facility in the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York.
