ProRehab is proud to announce their official sponsorship of the 2014 Indiana State Games this May 15-23rd in Evansville, Indiana. Through their partnership with the Southwestern Indiana Regional Council on Aging (SWIRCA), ProRehab’s staff will also be providing athletic training services at some of the events throughout the week, including Track and Field, Basketball, and Pickleball.
Formerly known as the Indiana Senior Games, the athletic events open to Indiana residents as well as out-of-state athletes over the age of 50. Competitive athletic events at the Indiana State Games will include everything from archery to swimming to volleyball and more. There will also be recreational events including a two-mile fitness walk, putt-putt, and 8-ball pool.
“We’re very excited to be partnering with SWIRCA to sponsor and providing athletic training services at the Indiana Senior Games this year,” said Pat Wempe, PT, DPT, SCS, CSCS, and owner of ProRehab. “We look forward to a safe, fun, and injury-free week.”
In addition to the Indiana State Games, ProRehab is also sponsoring the Masquerade Ball and Auction, which raises money to provide services to homebound and handicapped seniors in need of wheelchair ramps and other conveniences that allow them to have more mobility.
