ReSource Pro, a leading provider of business process management solutions for the insurance industry, has been named a winner of the American Association of Managing General Agents (AAMGA) 2014 Community Service Award. The company was selected as a result of contributing more than 1,100 hours of community service via 503 employee volunteers in both the U.S. and China.

“Our business is built on providing real-world solutions to existing problems,” said ReSource Pro CEO Dan Epstein. “That philosophy informs our culture of social responsibility, and contributes to our goal – and our employees’ desire – to help maintain and improve the communities where they live, and where our company operates.”

Between June 1, 2013 and March 1, 2014, ReSource Pro organized 11 community events through each of its three offices, including partnering with a local, Long Island Hurricane Sandy relief organization, volunteering with the Elim Center in Qingdao which provides care and educational services for autistic children, and a number of charitable fundraisers, clothing drives and organizing events at senior centers.

“By investing in our communities, we are also investing in our employees and their priorities. Not only is it the right thing to do, it helps us recruit and retain talented, socially minded employees who care about their work and their communities,” Epstein said.

Most recently, in 2011, the company was honored with the Silver Star award from the Qingdao chapter of the American Red Cross for its fundraising efforts on behalf of the victims of the 2010 Qinghai Province earthquake.
