The Skyus 4G LTE with Sprint performs like an embedded module, but is a self-contained add-on unit. This is accomplished by combining a 4G LTE radio module within an M2M-Ready adapter board that is specifically built for embedded applications. The new Skyus has also been upgraded with an industrial temperature range. It connects via USB, which is a common interface across embedded systems, wireless gateways and emerging M2M devices.
With support for Windows and Linux, the Skyus is the easiest path to M2M connectivity. The Skyus platform accelerates time-to-market for creating connected devices. And unlike consumer grade USB modems, the Skyus has external SMA antenna ports to optimize reception and coverage. Packaged into a lightweight and durable housing, the Skyus is M2M-Ready.
