The Oliver Kinross Mexico Oil and Gas Summit co hosted with the Mexico Power Summit and the Mexico Energy Industry Awards will focus on the current energy reforms in Mexico.

Oliver Kinross will be hosting the Mexico Oil and Gas Summit co-hosted with the Mexico Power summit and the Mexico energy Industry awards in Mexico City 20th - 21st October 2014. The event will provide professionals within the industry the unique opportunity to discover the latest achievements within the energy market in Mexico and to discuss possible future developments following the energy reforms.

The recent reforms are the most dramatic made in the Mexican oil and gas industry since its nationalization in 1938. This historic energy reform is to open itself to an international energy investment which is believed to result in a strong North American energy collaborative by various influential politicians and energy executives. There for the event is a positive opportunity for attendees to access and meet those influencing change and developing opportunities in Mexico. Representatives of the Government, international oil companies, national oil companies and enterprises of public services, as well as investors and financial institutions, will be present at the Conference.

The Mexico summit will provide developments, partnerships, and opportunities in Mexico's Evolving energy sector. Attendees will benefit from inside knowledge from over twenty five top level speakers participating and have the advantage of essential updates from the government and all the key stakeholders in Mexico, Oil, Gas and Power. The main speakers consist of Javier H. Estradaestrada, Director General for Energy Planning and Information (SECRETARÍA DE ENERGÍA, MEXICO), Miguel Alonso Rubio; Director General, Accions Energia and Alejandro Peraza Garcia, Director General, Comision Reguladora de energia.

Following the two conferences is the Mexico Energy Awards, which is Mexico's first and leading energy awards ceremony. The ceremony will recognise excellence and achievement within Mexico's energy industry and award those who are contributing to the successful development for the future of the energy industry within the region. The MEIA is an exclusive prestigious event that acknowledges Mexico 's recent appeal due to the current energy reforms.

The MEIA awards are judged by a prestigious panel. The judges for the Mexico Energy Industry Awards will be reviewing submissions and giving their individual verdict on awards.This year there are four award categories for oil and gas operator awards, utility awards, oil and gas solution provider awards and utility solution provider awards.

The Oliver Kinross Mexico Oil and Gas Summit co hosted with the Mexico Power Summit and the Mexico Energy Industry Awards is a unique event in which attendees can take advantage of essential updates from the Government being announced.
