John Stehle, Co-founder of Qponsr is pleased to announce the regional launch of Qponsr, a service for consumers trying to make sense of the vast array of offers presented daily. The service is currently focused on groceries, lists and coupons but will soon tackle other channels to help simplify the process for consumers.
The firm is building tools to help consumers utilize and understand the offers and also offer new channels for grocers, distributors and manufacturers to interact with their target consumer.
“Our team comes from outside the retail industry with the purpose of solving the pain points we have faced wading through the stream of savings presented to us as consumers,” states Stehle. “We’ve talked to young families, like our own and realize we do not have the time or desire to spend hours each week on coupon clipping and ad surfing. Most consumers are not extreme when it comes to coupon savings, nor do they have the desire to be. They are simply trying to save a few dollars and stretch their budget where they can. People are already too busy and trying to save some money just adds to this; so we are always looking at ways to simplify the overall process for them which can occur on a number of fronts. Our product is designed to help them accomplish this.”
Matt Tabin, Co-founder and CIO adds, “Sales circulars and couponing are at a cross roads. Newspaper circulation and readership continues to decline and digital consumption remains on the rise. However, the majority of coupons redeemed today are paper coupons. This forces the consumer interested in savings to go between the paper and digital environments, which is extremely time consuming. Our product helps bridge the gap.”
New tools are planned for the future and will be launched in partnership with retailers, savings aggregators and manufacturers. The company is currently seeking strategic partnerships as part of their growth strategy.
Led by John Stehle and Matt Tabin, Qponsr was founded in 2013 and is headquartered in Winston-Salem, NC. They are a technology company working with retailers, consumer package good companies and savings solution providers to deliver consumer savings through a single digital portal. Qponsr was created to provide simplified savings in an easy to understand manner to consumers trying to make sense of the many circulars, paper and digital coupons and offers available at any given time.
