East Troy, WI (PRWEB) May 22, 2014
Wisconsin Oven announced the shipment of a gas fired walk-in batch oven to their customer in the environmental services industry. The batch oven will be used for heating up gas meters in order to vaporize and vacuum out the mercury within them. Once this process is complete, the customer can then melt down the meters and safely dispose of the mercury. This allows their customer to recycle hazardous material in an environmentally friendly way.
The gas fired walk-in oven has a maximum temperature rating of 1,250°F and a work chamber of 8’W x 8’L x 5’3”H. The batch oven features guaranteed temperature uniformity (+/-10°F at 1,150° F) which was verified through a nine (9) point profile test prior to shipment. The oven hearth includes four (4) stainless steel skid rails designed with the total capacity of 8,000 pounds. The recycling batch oven has the sufficient capacity to heat 8,000 pounds of steel from 70°F to 1,150°F within 360 minutes when loaded into an ambient oven.
“This batch oven is used for a critical step in the recycling of hazardous material. It was designed with a high load capacity to maximize the recycling capabilities of our customer.” Nick Toci, Sales Engineer of Wisconsin Oven.
Unique features of this batch oven include:
This walk-in batch oven was fully factory tested and adjusted prior to shipment to help reduce installation and start-up times. A 150 point Quality Assurance check list was completed to ensure the equipment met all Wisconsin Oven quality standards.
