Risk assessment is an integral part of our day-to-day lives as EHS professionals.

San Antonio, Texas (PRWEB) May 22, 2014

Monica Melkonian, CIH and Industrial Hygiene Product Manager at Medgate, will speak about effective risk assessment programs at the American Industrial Hygiene Conference & Exposition (AIHce) on June 2 in San Antonio Texas. Medgate (http://www.medgate.com) is the leading global provider of software for environmental, health, and safety data management.

Monica will explain how to optimize risk assessment programs, including SEG management through harmonization and accuracy. The presentation will demonstrate how using EHS software to administrate an efficient and effective risk assessment program can add value to the organization. The session will take place on June 2 at 1:30pm in the Expo Theatre.

“Risk assessment is an integral part of our day-to-day lives as EHS professionals,” says Monica, “Without it, it is impossible to pro-actively identify and manage risk or effectively deploy resources to control risk. Consequently, it is vitally important that a harmonized program is in place, coupled with systems to drive and validate the accurate collection, analysis and interpretation of data. It is the only way to support the continuous improvement that is necessary to achieve a best-in-class risk program.”

“An integrated software platform can help drive a harmonized approach to risk assessment and can serve as an important tool to analyze and validate risk assessment data.”

AIHce is considered the most important event of the year among occupational and environmental health and safety professionals. Thousands are expected to convene in San Antonio, Texas at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center (HBGCC) for six days of world-class education and networking opportunities.

Medgate is pleased to be able to support AIHce. Medgate representatives and IH experts will also meet with delegates and showcase Medgate’s industry-leading industrial hygiene data management software at booth 4045 in the Expo Hall from Monday, June 2 to Wednesday, June 4.
