Downtown Denver Hotel Announces Appointment of Rooms Division Executive Assistant Manager
Denver, CO (PRWEB) May 21, 2014 -- Ed Bucholtz, general manager of the award-winning downtown Denver Colorado hotel, [Hyatt Regency Denver at Colorado Convention Center, announces the appointment of Tracey Pool as Executive Assistant Manager, Rooms Division.
Pool comes to Denver from Hyatt The Pike, Long Beach and Hyatt Regency Long Beach where she was the Hotel Manager for the last two years. Prior to that, she was the Senior Executive Assistant Manager of Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in Los Angeles, California. From 2004-2007, she was the Executive Assistant Manager of Hyatt Regency Baltimore. As her 28 year career with Hyatt progressed, Pool held positions at ten Hyatt Hotels on the east and west coasts. Pool studied Hospitality Management at Howard University.
In her position at Hyatt Regency Denver, Pool oversees the front office, guest services, doormen and hotel concierge, security, laundry and valet, housekeeping, reservations and PBX departments; a staff of nearly 200 people. Pool has served nationally on Hyatt’s Diversity and Inclusion Council since 2008 and in 2012, was selected as chairperson for Hyatt’s “Women at Hyatt” subcommittee, a role she continues to lead today. She is a certified tutor with the Literacy Volunteers of America.
