Kit Check today released the results of a survey of hospital pharmacy directors representing over 600 U.S. Hospitals and published in Hospital Pharmacy Operations Report 2014. The publication represents the first comprehensive report focused on the status of hospital pharmacy operations. Key findings include categorization of new requirements that are putting strain on hospital pharmacy work capacity at a time of constrained budgets. These challenges range from managing drug shortages to compliance with the Affordable Care Act (ACA).
