A.D. Farrow Co. Harley-Davidson to Host Inaugural Ride to Country Jam
Columbus, OH (PRWEB) May 20, 2014 -- A.D. Farrow Co. Harley-Davidson The Shop at NorthStar will host what is sure to be one of the largest charity rides of the summer. The ride benefitting Wounded Warrior will take place on June 14, 2014. America’s Oldest Harley Dealer invites riders to be escorted from the dealership to Legend Valley Concert Venue and Campground on Buckeye Lake for the 92.3 WCOL County Jam.
Riders will gather at the dealership’s 18-acre facility on Saturday morning and set out to the outdoor country concert accommodating thousands of patrons. This festival has brought top-notch country stars to Central Ohio, such as Gary Allen, Randy Houser, Maggie Rose, Parmalee, and more, and this year’s event will be even larger. This year’s performers, HANK WILLIAMS JR, Dierks Bentley, Randy Houser, Chris Young, Jerrod Niemann, Josh Thompson, Jon Pardi, Frankie Ballard, and Brothers Osborne have all been invited to participate in the ride. WCOL’s very own Zuko and Woody will set the pace as they leave the NorthStar facility on two wheels.
In addition to providing riders with the opportunity to ride with county music superstars the dealership will be giving away a brand new 2014 Harley-Davidson Motorcycle that day! A.D. Farrow Co. plans to replicate this charity event on Labor Day weekend for WCOL’s WoodyStock. Both of these rides are a part of the dealership’s “Pop-Up Performance Series.” The A.D. Farrow Co. and Centennial-Park Harley-Davidson “Pop-Up Performance Series” brings in big time, multi-platinum recording artists to perform for customers. As the dealership is aware, artists are constantly on the go and their schedules do not permit for additional scheduled performances so they are unable to set dates for the series, hence the name “Pop-Up.” When they learn when an artist will be popping in, typically about three weeks in advance, they set up the performances.
The dealerships have already hosted two Pop-Up Performances at Centennial-Park Harley-Davidson with country music super stars Rodney Atkins and Scotty McCreery. Guests of these Pop-Up Performances were able to meet the artists, get a signed souvenir, and were provided lunch and beverages.
The Pop Up Performances will be at the dealerships (downtown Columbus, Sunbury, and Pataskala) or at the Clear Channel A.D. Farrow Co. and Centennial-Park Harley-Davidson Performance Studio.
