Counselor Launches Debut Book On Women’s Self Esteem

In her work as a therapist, Deb Pavlico LPC noticed many amazing and accomplished women would accept less than they deserve, and go through life believing they are not “good enough.” Conversations with Women, The Journey Toward Self-Esteem includes real-life stories meant to shine a light on the topic and inspire women to recognize their own self-worth.

Could our understanding of self-esteem be at the root of the issue?

Forty Fort, PA (PRWEB) May 23, 2014

Deb Pavlico, MS, LPC, a Forty Fort, PA resident and self-employed counselor/psychotherapist, has announced the release of her first book, “Conversations With Women: The Journey Toward Self-Esteem.”

The book is currently available for purchase through Amazon.com and CreateSpace.com. “Conversations with Women” is a nonfiction work that tackles the important topic of a woman’s journey on the path to developing self-esteem.

Pavlico talks candidly about her own journey in the book, as well as providing in-depth interviews with several other women at various stages of life and in different professions. Each woman shared personal insight into their individual journeys to developing greater self esteem.

“In my work and personal life, I have come across many women who I have come to admire that just don’t see how amazing they are,” Pavlico said. “As a counselor and a mentor, I wanted to learn more about these doubts and behaviors, and what could be done to help.”

“The stories in this book are so identifiable, and the women interviewed so open and honest with their struggles and their advice for others,” Pavlico added. “It is my hope, that this book will open a dialogue that will help women better understand and overcome their doubts.”
