What are the traits that make the difference between a successful entrepreneur and everyone else?
Dallas, TX (PRWEB) May 22, 2014
When one thinks of the term ‘entrepreneurial traits,’ some familiar names that come to mind are Steve Jobs, Richard Branson, Bill Gates, or Oprah Winfrey. They started out as ordinary working people, and then they burst out to become some of the most successful entrepreneurs of our time. So what are the traits that make the difference between a successful entrepreneur, and everyone else?
Documentary filmmaker Jimmy Newson set out to learn about the facets of the entrepreneurial mind. He discovered that entrepreneurs are good at inspiring greatness in those around them. The rest of us can be steered toward success by harnessing critical entrepreneurial traits. Venture capitalists and business owners declare that entrepreneurs can emerge at any stage of life, and they can rise up in any industry, with diversity in race, background, education, and socioeconomic status. If you think back to school days, those over-achieving students who got straight A grades are generally not the entrepreneurial types. It is usually the C students who rise up to form the entrepreneurial crowd, because they always had to find unique ways to get ahead.
Qualities of entrepreneurs are tenacity and passion. There is also a fearless factor that is ingrained in the soul that says ‘I have nothing to lose by trying this.’ Entrepreneurs are called creatives and visionaries, since they are able to spot unique opportunities. They also have self-confidence and flexibility; and they tend to seek ways to defy conventional wisdom.
