You maintain the rhythm, feel and grove, but just changing the notes up a bit
(PRWEB) May 22, 2014
Jacques starts off this easy blues guitar lesson by demonstrating a simple blues shuffle that he says “most of you probably already know” as follows; open 5th string and the 2nd fret of the 4th string with his fist finger and then the open 5th string and the 4th fret of the 4th string with his 3rd finger, played as a shuffle back and fourth as eighth notes (1 & 2 & 3 & 4 &). Jacques says that you can easily change this up and demonstrates as follows; open 5th string and the 2nd fret of the 4th string with his fist finger and follows that with 3rd fret of the 6th string with 2nd finger to the 4th fret with 3rd finger. “You maintain the rhythm, feel and grove, but just changing the notes up a bit,” says Darville. Jacques continues this easy beginner blues guitar lesson by demonstrating several other ways to embellish the shuffle by changing up other notes, but still keeping it simple.
