WebiMax Announces Plans to Move to Camden Waterfront
Mt. Laurel, NJ (PRWEB) May 22, 2014 -- WebiMax recently announced that it is moving to the Camden Waterfront this fall. The digital marketing agency – ranked by Inc. Magazine as one of the fastest growing companies in the country, and number one in New Jersey in 2012 – aims to continue growth from this new headquarters location.
In February, Mayor Dana L. Redd declared Camden “open for business,” and encouraged companies to invest in the city’s rebirth.

Most of WebiMax’s 100+ current employees live in the South Jersey/Philadelphia area, all of which will relocate to the Camden office and be joined by many new hires the company intends to add over the next several years.
To help fuel this growth, WebiMax is one of 12 New Jersey companies selected for Governor Christie’s incentive program, Grow NJ, which encourages businesses to retain and increase employment in the Garden State.
WebiMax’s substantial growth over recent years had also received the attention of neighboring states, including Deleware, which offered large incentive packages for the company to relocate. Though the offers were enticing, WebiMax ultimately chose to remain in New Jersey to avoid potential loss of staff from the distance and take advantage of the Grow NJ program. “We are thrilled about our partnership with New Jersey,” says Kevin O’Brien, COO & Principal at WebiMax. “It was quite an honor to have various states vying for us to move, but we are excited about expanding our growth in our home state.”
The office will be located in the Ferry Terminal Building, a “landmark” office building with unobstructed views of Philadelphia. “We are very excited to be upgrading to this fully renovated Class A office space and having about the best view of Philly you will find,” says Sean O’Donnell, WebiMax’s CTO & Principal. “With this move, we will also be making some heavy investments in new technologies to outfit the facility and improve internal/external communications.”
