Arcadia, CA (PRWEB) May 23, 2014 -- When Patriotic Brother scored her maiden victory at Santa Anita Park on Sunday, May 18 in her first race ever, it also marked the initial win for YUP Racing LLC in the stable's first start ever. The racing stable is a byproduct of YUPRacing.com, the first website in North America dedicated primarily to the Chinese community by providing multi-lingual information about the sport of horse racing.
The idea behind YUPRacing.com was to increase Chinese awareness and participation in thoroughbred racing by creating an informational website that would offer individuals the opportunity to learn in their native tongue, whether it was Mandarin, Cantonese, or even English. After initially accomplishing that feat through YUPRacing.com, the focus turned to the YUP Racing Club, by which interested parties could enjoy the benefits and thrills of being a horse owner for little or no investment in the stable. Again, the idea was to increase involvement and to make the racing experience more affordable and enjoyable for people at any level. Members are able to visit the barn, go to the paddock and, with wins such as the one by Patriotic Brother, enjoy the thrill of being in the winner's circle.
“I never realized it was such great fun to attend and watch a live race at the track,” said Patrick Liu, one of YUP Racing’s guests at Sunday race. “Now I understand why so many people enjoy horse racing. I am now one of them.”
