South Florida Tech Company Hosting Code-a-Thon with $2,500 Grand Prizee-Builder Looking for Best Coders in South Florida
Ft. Lauderdale, FL (PRWEB) May 22, 2014 -- e-Builder, the leading provider of cloud-based construction program management software, is looking for the best coders in South Florida. The company, based in Plantation’s Technology Park, is holding a code-a-thon on June 11, 2014.
The contest is open to both professional and student programmers and will include a number of creative code challenges and programming puzzles. Participants who answer the most problems correctly in the quickest amount of time will be crowned coding champion. Along with fame and glory, the winner will be awarded a grand prize worth $2,500.
“We are looking for the best of the best in South Florida when it comes to coding and programming. Whether someone has been doing this for years or they are still in college, participation is open to all,” said Ron Antevy, CEO of e-Builder. “Our goal is to make South Florida a technology hub and attract more top talent, and this is a great way to showcase the talent that exists locally.”
The deadline to apply is May 30, 2014. All applicants must register at http://www.e-builder.net/codeathon. Those selected to participate will be notified via email on June 2nd.
The Code-a-Thon will take place on June 11th at e-Builder Headquarters at 1800 NW 69th Avenue in Plantation. Participants will be given lunch from Noon until 2:00 p.m. The challenge starts at 2:00 p.m. and runs until 6:00 p.m. The winner will be announced at the e-Builder Open House event the following day, June 12th. Participants must be present to win.
