Dot Puzzle Publisher Releases Event Schedule for Spring and Summer Months
Rochester, NY (PRWEB) May 22, 2014 -- Dot-to-dot puzzle publisher, Monkeying Around, is pleased to announce they will be exhibiting at two Rochester Area events this spring. Monkeying Around founder and puzzle creator, David Kalvitis, will be attending both events to meet with customers and fans. The events are Dan’s Crafts and Things Annual Open House and the 37th Annual Fairport Canal Days Arts Festival on May 31st and June 7-8th respectively.
On May 31, 2014, Monkeying Around will be exhibiting at Dan’s Crafts and Things Annual Open House. Dan’s Crafts and Things will be celebrating their 40th anniversary from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at 352 Empire Blvd., Rochester, NY 14609. The 12,000-square-foot retail craft supply store was the first to order The Greatest Dot-to-Dot Book in the World - Book 1 in 2000. Dan’s Crafts has been ordering from Monkeying Around ever since.
“My first order ever was with Dan’s Crafts and I’m very happy to help them celebrate their 40th anniversary,” says David Kalvitis creator of the Greatest Dot-to-Dot puzzles and founder of Monkeying Around. “Dan’s Crafts has been a longtime valued vendor and I’m pleased to be a part of this event.”
Monkeying Around will also be exhibiting at the 37th Annual Fairport Canal Days Arts Festival on June 7th – 8th at Booth #SME321 on South Main Street in Fairport, New York. The Downtown Fairport event is one of the premier festivals in the Northeast with over 200,000 annual attendants. Monkeying Around will have dot-to-dot puzzle books for sale and autograph opportunities in their booth. The festival is a great opportunity for Monkeying Around to reach a new audience and showcase their innovative products.
“Fairport Canal Days is in my old home town and my favorite spring festival,” says Kalvitis. “It’s always fun to see reactions to puzzles with over 1,000 dots.”
