Chicago, IL (PRWEB) May 29, 2014 -- Wholesale Sports Outdoor Outfitters (WSOO), a subsidiary of Calgary–based, UFA Co–operative Limited, announces that it has partnered with hybris software, an SAP company and the world’s fastest growing commerce platform provider, to create an enhanced e-commerce experience featuring the industry’s most advanced commerce technology.

Wholesale Sports is a 13-store, multichannel retailer dedicated to the sportsmen and women who are passionate about the outdoors. Recognizing that its physical presence is currently limited to consumers in western Canada, Wholesale Sports wanted to leverage online commerce capabilities to deliver dynamic content to specific customer segments nationwide. The company’s existing e-commerce site was out of date and incapable of delivering the robust user experience Wholesale Sports needed to achieve its expansion goals.

The hybris Commerce suite will enable Wholesale Sports to dramatically improve its user experience and backend commerce capabilities. Key features of the solution include:

• Sophisticated B2C usability to deepen engagement with both new and existing customers
• Robust single-stack technology for advanced order, content and catalogue management
• Ability to deliver new media, rich media and an elevated brand experience to customers

Wholesale Sports expects to re-launch on the hybris platform in fall 2014. Going forward, UFA Co-operative Limited intends to expand the use of the hybris platform to other affiliates throughout North America.
