Max International’s “Max Gives Back” Humanitarian Event Commences in Punta Cana This Week, Helping Local Children in Need
Salt Lake City, UT (PRWEB) May 22, 2014 -- Max International’s annual Diamond Retreat event has recently commenced in Punta Cana of the Dominican Republic, created to reward the company’s top-performing associates. This year, the company has interlaced its retreat with a humanitarian effort, striving to create sustainable change in a local community that Max participants hope will enrich the children’s lives for years to come. During the week-long retreat, which began May 20th and will conclude on Sunday, May 25th, Max Executives and Associates are dedicating a full day to the “Max Gives Back” campaign, helping to rebuild a local school in need within the community. Max Gives Back takes place today at the new school facility, currently undergoing the final stage of construction.
The company has funded a new school facility to replace the dilapidated structure previously used to teach children in the community, pouring a strong foundation into a completely new building that will consist of several classrooms, bathrooms, and a cafeteria. Company associates and executives will participate in a full day of planned activities, as well as provide the children with supplies and books to help them overcome the challenging circumstances that they face. Max Intl. will furthermore be stocking the new classrooms with computers full of educational software in both English and Spanish to promote a long-lasting improvement to the village’s local institution.
The Max Gives Back initiative was devised to represent the company’s core values and character, which support health, well-being, and philanthropy. Much like its products and vision to share the health-beneficial formula with the world, Max Intl. endorses overall wellness - physically, mentally, and emotionally. The company stands for promoting these values to others, and has taken it upon itself to create more opportunities for impoverished children in the Dominican Republic that are without the resources to pursue these ideals for themselves.
All day Thursday, the event’s attendees will join together to offer supplies and life skills to disadvantaged children in the Dominican Republic, providing them with the tangible and intangible tools to help them build their own path to success after the close of the event. The children (grades K-7) face unique challenges that hinder their ability to receive a decent education, further impeding on their ability to break free from the cycle of poverty.
Max International participants will spend time during the day playing with and reading to the children, as well as teaching them how to use the new computers donated by the company. Also on the agenda for the day, Max Gives Back group members will be painting the school’s walls together with the students. Each child will also receive a MaxPack, a backpack filled with school supplies and books. Lastly, a financial donation to the school made by Max International, LLC and its associates.
Max International anticipates this year’s event to be the company’s most successful retreat to date with its unique humanitarian focus. The Max Executives are excited to use the resources derived from the success of their company to help these children in need, providing them with hope, and the opportunity for a better future.
