San Jose, CA (PRWEB) May 27, 2014
Prysm, Inc., a designer and manufacturer of video wall systems that deliver immersive and engaging user experiences, today announced it will showcase its line of Cascade Collaboration solutions, and a stunning 4K UHD video wall at InfoComm 2014.
“InfoComm offers us a tremendous opportunity to demonstrate the broad range of capabilities that our video walls provide,” said Amit Jain, Prysm’s President and CEO. “Whether it’s for conference rooms, lobbies, broadcast studios, auditoriums or command and control, Prysm video walls are the solution of choice for corporations, universities and governments around the globe.”
Cascade Collaboration Solutions
Available in two standard configurations, 117” and 190” diagonal displays, Cascade-series video walls take collaboration to a new level – delivering unmatched team productivity whether meeting in-person or from remote sites. Cascade all-in-one solutions are touch enabled, allowing users to display, share, reposition, resize, annotate and edit all types of content on screen. Inputs can include PCs, mobile devices, video conferencing and content stored locally or in the cloud. Built on the foundation of Prysm’s Laser Phosphor Display (LPD) technology, Cascade video walls offer clear viewing from all angles of the room, low eye-strain, run cool to the touch, and plug into standard electrical outlets. In addition, multiple teams can share a Cascade video wall with dedicated workspaces that let them pick up their work where they last left off.
Dana Corey, Prysm VP of Sales and Technical Operations, said:
“We’re delivering a true plug-and-play solution that makes team interaction more productive and engaging. Cascade solutions provide collaboration capabilities that are unmatched in the industry, maximizing room utilization without the need for HVAC or electrical system upgrades. Cascade video walls are an incredibly important tool for organizations that want to speed decision making, streamline communications and take their teams’ productivity to a whole new level.”
At InfoComm, a Cascade 190 collaboration video wall will be on display in Prysm’s booth (N1115), with Cascade 117 video walls being shown in the booths of telepresence market-leader, Cisco (N904), and collaboration software developer, Anacore (N2439). 4K UHD Video Wall
Prysm’s booth will also feature a 4K UHD video wall measuring approximately 15ft wide by 9ft high. This 5-degree curved canvas will bring to life stunning content from renowned Norwegian time-lapse photographer, Stian Rekdal, whose vibrant motion-controlled landscapes and cityscapes will take visitors on a memorable journey around the world. The 4K UHD video wall will also feature command and control demonstrations from State Grid Corporation of China, the world’s seventh largest company, and the largest in the public utilities sector.
All of Prysm’s video walls are implemented using its new LPD TD2 tile. The TD2 tile delivers superior image quality and unmatched visual impact. Color and brightness uniformity are maintained in real time across the entire video wall display for the life of the product. Consuming as much as 75% less power than legacy large format display solutions, LPD video walls are not only beautiful, they are the sustainably smart choice.
InfoComm is one of the largest industry-based AV trade shows in the world, and runs June 18 – 20 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. For more information, visit infocommshow.org.
