Defender Technologies management team, from Gulf Shores, Alabama met with a group in Gulf Breeze early this month to present its technology for building safe homes for retried disabled veteran, and families with low income.
One of the problems facing many disabled veterans and low-income families is their ability to evacuate timely when a hurricane or flood hit the coast. Defender Homes, and Defender Technologies has a system used on construction of homes that withstands wind up to 200 mph plus, and is virtually water-proof. The system was developed in the Philippians where some of the most sever weather in the world occurs. The home will withstand termites, fire, and mold, as well as earth quakes to a degree.
“If a person makes less than $40,000 and has fairly good credit, we can build them a home with zero down, 100% financing with low interest rates. What really helps families is the cost on insurance and utility saving, which could be as much as 50%, “ Vice President Davey Jones said. Mr. Jones is a former staff member of State Farm.
There are several government programs available to individual seeking to “own” their own home. Some of the programs offered are financed 100% with zero down and low interest rates. Defender has a staff member that assist persons of low income to fill out documents to determine, if they qualify. “The Company is in the business of building homes that will save lives,” a spokesperson from Defender stated.
A show-place home has been built in Gulf Shores for persons of interest to visit, and is open daily by appointment.
