According to documents filed with the court on May 20, 2014, an ammonium nitrate explosion occurred on April 17, 2013 at the West Fertilizer Company storage and distribution facility in West, Texas, eighteen miles north of Waco. Fifteen people were killed, and over one hundred and sixty people were injured.
