With over 20 years in the media industry, Breathe Radio founders Marcus Osborne, Charlene Goto and Tova Osborne set out on a mission to create a diverse talk mobile radio station with the female listener in mind. Seeking to expand the conversational palate of today’s talk radio & offer stimulating female driven and focused shows, Breathe Radio offers an alternative to confrontational, sports or politically focused content. "Radio is changing -- we're evolving with it" says founder Marcus Osborne. "The way people receive their entertainment is changing at such a rapid pace. We simply want to stay ahead of the game. Breathe Radio offers a multitude of shows whose content is less about who scored touchdowns or political points and more about lifestyle issues both good and bad." Breathe Radio shows and hosts are lively, relatable, entertaining but also informative with show topics on relationships, pop culture, fitness, parenting and topical headlines. Breathe Radio is also the home of original programs such as The Straight Male Friend Show (SMF). Straight Male Friend Show discusses love, dating, relationships and sex… from the average guy’s perspective and airs Monday through Friday from 9am to noon PST. SMF is highly interactive for listeners as they are encouraged to call in, text, Tweet and Facebook questions, comments and messages for a who’s who of celebrity guests. Guests on SMF have included Denzel Washington, Kathy Griffin, Marlon Wayans, Carlos Mencia & Kevin Hart. Breathe Radio programming runs 7 days a week with a diverse line-up of talented hosts and shows including “The Titus Podcast” with Host (and actor/comedian) Christopher Titus, “Radio Rehab” with Dayna Keyes and “Silver Spotlight” with Mark Silverman. “I'm so excited and proud to be a part of this new venture” expressed Charlene Goto, Founder & VP of Programming. “We've built a new outlet for radio hosts and producers to be a part of something with the creative freedom to do shows on things they are passionate about. I've met and worked with so many talented radio people throughout the years, and I feel like the cream of the crop have joined our station and want to be involved in what we're doing... They come from all different walks of media too - FM Talk, AM Talk, Music Djs, News Reporters - everyone involved with Breathe Radio has a passion for the medium and it comes through in our programming.” Breathe Radio is available to listeners online as well as via the free Breathe Radio Mobile App for both Apple and Android.
