Vancouver Charter Company Rebounds from Tragic Fire and Adds New 42’ Boat
Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada (PRWEB) May 24, 2014 -- Aquatic Ventures has been serving the needs of visitors, residents and fishing enthusiasts of Vancouver for over 15 years. Today, the company has officially rebounded from the tragic loss of The Angler’s Dream, the one-of-a-kind fishing charter boat based in Granville Island Vancouver.
On November 11, 2013, The Angler’s Dream was tragically lost when the ship burned to the waterline. It was a devastating blow to the company. “The Angler’s Dream wasn’t our biggest boat, but she was our pride and joy,” said company owner Rod Hebert. “She was one of a kind, the only classic capable of carrying 12 passengers out into the Pacific. It really was a devastating thing.”
Today, Aquatic Ventures takes the first step in putting that loss behind the company. The new boat, Anglers Dream II measures 42 feet, which is actually larger than The Angler’s Dream. She is outfitted for luxurious comfort during a charter voyage, and makes an ideal option for fishing and recreation travel throughout the northern Pacific.
“She’s a beautiful boat,” Rod Hebert said of the new addition. “While we still mourn the loss of The Angler’s Dream, Angler's Dream II is definitely a worthy replacement and our customers will find she is just as comfortable for any charter voyage they want to enjoy.”
Angler's Dream II will join Aquatic Ventures’ other boats – the Mar Y Arena, which is perfect for small fishing groups of up to four people, and the Desert Mariner, which can accommodate up to 24 people and sleeps 8 in comfort. The company also operates several other boats in the North Pacific catering to a range of charter and tour needs.
