Deadline Extended for Historic Rehabilitation Awards Nominations
San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) May 22, 2014 -- The deadline to nominate developments for the second annual Novogradac Journal of Tax Credits Historic Rehabilitation Awards has been extended to June 12, 2014. The Historic Rehabilitation Awards honor outstanding achievement in historic preservation development and finance using the historic rehabilitation tax credit (HTC). Winners and honorable mentions will be recognized at an award ceremony during the Novogradac Historic Tax Credit Conference on Sept. 18 at The Drake Hotel in Chicago, Ill.
The Novogradac Journal of Tax Credits will accept nominations to identify and acknowledge historic preservation developments that demonstrate effective use of community resources and that serve as catalysts for further economic development.
“The Historic Rehabilitation Awards honor development teams that showcase how the historic rehabilitation tax credit can effectively address community needs and spur economic investment,” said Tom Boccia, CPA, conference chair and partner in Novogradac’s Cleveland office. “We look forward to recognizing achievements that ensure historic structures integral to our nation’s past will remain a part of our future.”
