South Shore Car & Boat Show is Revving up Sunday, June 1, 2014 at Miller's Landing Resort in Beautiful Bass Lake, California

Ladies and Gentlemen start your engines… Miller’s Landing Resort will host its 4th Annual South Shore Car & Boat Show on Sunday, June 1. Classic cars and fast boats will gather once again - according to the Yosemite Sierra Visitors Bureau.

Ladies and Gentlemen start your engines… Miller’s Landing Resort will host its 4th Annual South Shore Car & Boat Show on Sunday, June 1. Classic cars and fast boats will gather once again.

“We’re really excited that this will be our 4th year hosting the car and boat show. This has been a really popular event. Every year it grows and it’s so much fun to see all the classic cars and boats,” said Michelle Miller with Miller’s Landing.

There will be 50 cars and at least 20 boats in the water, according to Miller.

In addition to the cars and boats, there will be music, a 50-50 drawing, “cackle-fest”, kids’ and of course, plenty of good food including the famous Miller’s Burger for purchase.

“This has been a really popular event; combined with the gorgeous scenery of Bass Lake it’s the best way to spend the day!” Miller said.

Miller’s Landing is located at the southern end of Bass Lake, a popular vacation spot in the Sierra National Forest about half an hour from the southern entrance to Yosemite. A perfect getaway spot Bass Lake offers all the amenities of a vacation destination, all right on the shore. Restaurants, shopping and every form of lodging from camping to full service resorts are all moments from the water’s edge, making it an ideal vacation spot.

In addition to the car show, guests can stay in one of Miller’s Landing Resort cabins, rent a ski boat, pontoon boat, jet skis, or the new favorite; paddle boards. They have all the supplies and souvenirs you need at the general store and guests will enjoy traditional vacation favorites at the family restaurant.
