Suffield, CT (PRWEB) May 22, 2014 -- Windsor Marketing Group, an innovative in-store marketing company, will serve as the sponsor of The Friends of the Farm at Hilltop (FOFAH) Bald Eagle Golf Outing on June 22, 2014.
The event will be held at Suffield Country Club in Suffield, CT.

Hilltop Farm is part of the northeast corner of Suffield’s more than 400 year old farming legacy. The property belonged to George Hendee of Indian Motorcycle who purchased 24 parcels in 1913 and created Hilltop Farm. Construction of Hendee’s signature dairy barn, a landmark in Suffield and “one of the finest in the state,” was completed in 1914.
The Friends of the Farm at Hilltop, Inc is an all-volunteer nonprofit organization governed by a board of directors and supported by volunteers that has rehabilitated barns, installed fencing and completed countless other repair and maintenance projects. The Bald Eagle Golf Outing is to benefit the FOFAH as it celebrates the Centennial of the farm by hosting a series of events and activities commemorating the 100 years of connecting people to the land.
The Bald Eagle tournament carries extra significance as the farm is home to a pair of nesting bald eagles and baby eagles that have been spotted this season.
The June 22 tournament starts with registration and lunch at 11:30 a.m. followed by a shotgun start at 1 p.m. The tournament will be played in a traditional 18-hole scramble format and will be followed by a social hour and dinner at the club beginning at 6 p.m.
