Executive Producer Franco Sama, of Samaco Films, and Missy Tanner, of Murderabilia Entertainment, Announce"Heroes" Star James Kyson to star in "The Livingston Gardener"
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) June 01, 2014 -- James Kyson, best known for portraying the Japanese character Ando Masahashi on the NBC television series "Heroes," has signed on to play hotshot investigative reporter Pierce Lawrence in the upcoming film, The Livingston Gardener.
The Livingston Gardener centers on Kyson’s character, who finds himself at the mercy of a convicted serial killer during a live television broadcast.
The film, which was written and is being directed by Ryan Roy, will be produced by Missy Tanner under her shingle, Murderabilia Entertainment. Tanner teamed up with Veteran Executive Film Producer Franco Sama of Samaco Films, who has amassed an impressive filmography of over 25 independent feature films including the 2012 Gary Oldman, Christian Slater starrer, Guns, Girls and Gambling.
Sama says, “I am incredibly fortunate to have been brought on to produce this film; the script is one of the best I have read in a very long time and the team that Missy [Tanner] has assembled to make this film is equally impressive.”
South Korean born Kyson, who was voted one of T.V. Guide’s “Hollywood’s 25 Hottest,” is highly regarded in the entertainment industry and known for his exceptional acting prowess.
In addition to being a series regular on Heroes, Kyson’s television credits also include “Justified” and “Hawaii Five-O.”
Tanner describes her experience of producing this film: “I am so fortunate to be working with such incredibly talented and experienced people; we have assembled an amazing cast and crew, all of whom will contribute to making this film fantastic.”
The Livingston Gardener is currently in pre-production and begins shooting on August 11th, 2014, in Canton, Mississippi.
