Sierra View District Hospital Selects Allen Technologies’ IPS Solution for Patient Education and IPTV
Austin, TX (PRWEB) May 28, 2014 -- Allen Technologies has announced that Sierra View District Hospital, a recognized state-of-the-art facility in the Southern Sequoia region of California's Central Valley, has selected the Allen Interactive Patient System (IPS) solution to help them improve customer satisfaction, raise HCAHPS results, streamline clinical processes, and reduce hospital operating costs. The turnkey system includes Samsung hospital-grade TVs, ELO bedside touch screens, Cisco networking gear, IPTV, and Allen Technologies software modules. When deployment is complete the system will also include an upgraded patient education library, superior entertainment choices, and provide a flexible and affordable upgrade path for future needs.
“Delivering high-quality health care that exceeds our patients' expectations is our top priority here at Sierra View District Hospital,” said Mike Kobaly, Administrative Director of General Services. “Allen Technologies listened closely to our requirements, clearly understood the constraints of the hospital budgets, and worked with us to define an interactive patient system that is simple to use, fits our patient and clinical needs, our budgets, and is scalable for our future requirements.”
“One of things we liked best about the Allen Technologies solution,” he continued “is the company’s ability to develop a custom, budget-friendly solution for our hospital. Working with their content development team, we can define what the screens will look like, how patients navigate the system, and even how selections will be named. We really feel like it is our system, built specifically for Sierra View’s patients and staff.”
Jerry Folsom, President and CEO of Allen Technologies explained the focus of the company is to “deliver flexible, scalable interactive systems that address each hospital’s current needs but also provides a clear path for expansion as needs change. We look for every opportunity to add value for our customers while being cognizant of their budgets.”
