‘Robotic Surgery: Research and Reviews’ is an international, peer-reviewed open access journal which will focus on the theory, use and application of robotics in surgical interventions. Articles on the use of Supervisory-controlled Robotic Systems, telesurgical devices and shared-control systems are invited.
Dr. Azodi is currently an associate professor in the Section of Gynecologic Oncology at Yale University. He also serves as Chief of Gynecologic Oncology at Bridgeport hospital. He is director of Minimally Invasive and Robotic Surgery, and director of minimally invasive gynecologic surgery fellowship at Yale Gynecologic Oncology. Dr. Azodi is actively involved in research, serving as the co–principal investigator for all of the Gynecologic Oncology Group (GOG) clinical trials protocols in the section, and as principal investigator or co–investigator on multiple other protocols. He researches and lectures on treatment options for pre–malignant and malignant gynecologic disorders involving the vulva, cervix, vagina, uterus, ovaries, fallopian tubes, and placenta. He emphasizes minimally invasive approaches in gynecologic oncology procedures.
