Experient Health Publishes Series of Blog Posts On Healthy Diets, Sleep and Fitness

The summer series of healthy living Blog posts by Experient Health aim to help more of the community live well as a standard part of their preventative healthcare.

The need to establish healthy eating habits instead of diets, sleeping well as a cornerstone of healthy living and exercise.

These topics and more topped a series of Blog posts published this month by Experient Health as part of the Virginia Farm Bureau company's mission to educate the community on ways to live well.

Living well, Experient Health wrote, is a key part of preventative medicine.

"We are all human," Experient Health wrote in Managing Weight Loss Setbacks. "Whether school, work or our health, we have all likely experienced setbacks in life. And that’s ok. What matters most during a setback is how quickly you gain control of the situation."

In the Managing Setbacks Blog post, Experient Health detailed how to avoid temptations after a healthy eating regimen or exercise routine is established, how to get off of a weight loss plateau and how to handle setbacks when they occur.

"Have you ever stopped to realize just how intertwined hunger, sleep and stress are?" Experient Health write in Managing Hunger, Stress and Sleep. "Each plays a significant role in the next. Not enough sleep can leave you feeling stressed. Being stressed can cause cravings that make you want to eat. Eating bad foods can cause your blood sugar to crash leaving you feeling sleepy. Before you know it, you are feeling stressed, tired and hungry again."

Readers can get the tools they need to end the cycle with the tips detailed in the post.

In the Anti-Diet Diet Blog post, Experient Health wrote that "while diets can be a fast track to success, they are not a lifestyle that can be followed for a long period of time. Good nutrition, however, is a lifestyle that can be followed."

Experient Health detailed there why nutrition matters, how much people should eat, how to make goo grocery shopping decisions, a formula for good eating (breaking down how much protein, carbs and more most people should consume each day), and how to fit fitness into the equation.
