Glutenfreeda to Donate up to $3,000 for National Celiac Awareness Month through Social Giving Campaign
Seattle, WA (PRWEB) May 27, 2014 -- Glutenfreeda Foods, Inc. has launched a social giving campaign to support, promote and educate about celiac disease during May’s Celiac Awareness Month. Now during the last week of the month, they are stepping up the incentive to participate.
Users can help raise money for celiac research by using the hashtag #SupportCeliacAwareness on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google+ or Vine. Posts using the hashtag, will be displayed on supportceliacawareness.com where anyone can view the information and knowledge being shared. For each use of the hashtag, Glutenfreeda will donate $1 (up to $3,000 total) to The University of Chicago Celiac Disease Center and MassGeneral Hospital Center for Celiac Research and Treatment.
“As a Celiac, I know the broad range of symptoms of celiac disease can be difficult to diagnose. In many cases, people suffer for years before they receive an accurate diagnosis that leads to a gluten-free diet,” said Yvonne Gifford, CEO of Glutenfreeda Food, Inc. “Sharing our stories is a way to spread understanding and support. Through these efforts we hope to unite an extremely active community and help spread awareness of celiac disease through social media.”
Both organizations are known for their groundbreaking research and dedication to learning the cause and finding a cure for Celiac Disease.
To participate, people may use the hashtag in their own social media posts or can share Glutenfreeda’s content focused on educating and supporting Celiac Awareness Month for the remainder of May.
