NaphCare Awarded New Agreement to Provide Proactive Healthcare for Clark County Detention Center in Las Vegas
Birmingham, AL (PRWEB) May 28, 2014 -- We are very pleased to receive the opportunity to continue our partnership in Las Vegas,” said NaphCare CEO Jim McLane. “This is exemplary of the hard work and dedication by Sheriff Doug Gillespie, the Clark County leadership team and all the CCDC and NaphCare team members.”
Following a competitive procurement process, Clark County made the formal award to NaphCare. The company has been the CCDC’s partner for correctional healthcare since 2005. Presently, NaphCare manages an average daily population of 3,840 inmate patients at the Clark County detention center and North Valley Complex.
Over the past eight years, NaphCare has implemented many cost-effective programs in the CCDC through a forward-thinking proactive approach to inmate care, including full installation of the TechCare™ EHR system, which helps the clinical team manage the county’s busy intake process of more than 75,000 people per year.
“We value our relationships with strong and cost-mindful partners in Clark County,” said Captain Michael See, who oversees the contract for Clark County. “Selecting NaphCare to continue to provide efficient, quality healthcare solutions to our patient population at CCDC and the North Valley Complex is a good decision for the taxpayers of Clark County.”
