Neal’s Record Breaking Sales Hit a Milestone in April

Neal reports another month of strong sales. Prolific new homebuilder continues record-breaking sales pace in Southwest Florida.

Neal Communities is celebrating its best April on record, with 88 new home sales last month. That’s up 22-percent from April 2013, which at the time was the most sales the Lakewood Ranch-based builder had ever reported in that month.

“We cite several factors that led to the best April sales month we have ever had as a company,” said David Hunihan, director of sales at Neal Communities. “With a longer winter season up north, a strong Florida economy, and plentiful home choices including inventory, buyers continue to see the value in the southwest Florida real estate market,” he said.

Sales took place in 16 communities from Manatee to Lee Counties. Grand Palm, Neal’s master planned community in Venice, was the standout community in April, with 18 sales. Other notable communities included Central Park in Lakewood Ranch -- expected to sell out this year -- with nine sales, Fairfield in Bradenton with eight sales, and Forest Creek and River’s Reach with seven sales each.

Additionally, Neal’s Southern Division, which includes Lee and Collier counties, noted 19 sales last month.
