New York, NY (PRWEB) May 29, 2014 -- The Boot and Shoe Travelers Association of New York (B&STA of New York) will present the next Metropolitan New York Footwear, Apparel, and Accessories Marketplace on June 16th-17th, 2014. The quarterly trade show is meant to facilitate and enhance both the retailer and wholesaler experience.
Men’s, women’s, and children’s footwear, apparel, and accessories will be displayed by category and price point. Open to the industry only, over 500 product lines will be represented, and over 200 professional sales representatives will be present.
Exhibitors are required to join the B&STA of New York in order to participate, and retailers must document their eligibility to buy at wholesale.
The event is always well-regarded as an opportunity to see and choose the latest products, and as a one-stop-shop for retailers in the metropolitan New York area.
“Boot and Shoe Travelers Association of New York has been around since 1906. Throughout that time, our main goal has always been to help sales representatives earn a living,” states Danny Lakin, of B&STA. “This is a great regional show for footwear, apparel, and accessories… all under one roof. We’re excited about it!”
The trade show will be held June 16th-17th at the Meadowlands Exposition Center in Secaucus, NJ. The Meadowlands Exposition Center is just 15 minutes outside of New York City.

About the Boot and Shoe Travelers Association of New York (B&STA of New York)
The B&STA will celebrate its 75th anniversary of incorporation in June of 2014. The organization was established in 1906 by sales executives with one necessity in mind: to have a regional event that facilitated presenting lines to as many retailers in the Northeast possible. The purpose of the show has always been to help members by creating an event that can help them see a large number of customers in two days, in one building.
The Show Chairman and Past President, Danny Lakin, has served for philanthropic organizations such as TwoTen as (Past) Vice President and as Board Member of the National Shoe Travelers Association. Today he continues to help the industry and his colleagues build events where vendors and retailers can create valuable relationships.
